Summer Art Day Camp 2010

Summer Art Day Camp studentsKids that are ages 6- 12 years, can spend a week at Sun Gallery having fun, learning about art and creating their own art projects.

And each week is different, all summer long.

Each day, students will create art works, participate in art games, meet artists, and tour a real art gallery. Children learn from working artists who are experienced in art education. Small class sizes afford an imaginative, playful, nurturing experience. Children are supervised at all times, and a snack is provided. Bring a bag lunch and wear old clothes. A day at Summer Art Day Camp looks like this:
 

Students explore and experience 2D and 3D art forms utilizing the following media:

  • Water Color
  • Ink and Color Pencil Drawing
  • Printmaking
  • Collage
  • Ceramics
  • Sculpture

Summer Art Day Camp
2010 Schedule
Session   I    July 5 - July 9   (ages 6-9)
Session   II    July 12- July 16   (ages 8-12)
Session   III    July 19- July 23   (ages 6-9)
Session   IV    July 26- July 30   (ages 8-12)
Session   V    Aug. 2- Aug 6
Session   VI    Aug. 9 - Aug 13
Session   VII Aug. 16 - Aug 20
Each session will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily,
Monday - Friday.


Lunch & Snacks! 

Child brings own lunch each day.
Sun Gallery will provide:
wholesome snacks and water.

Tuition
$200.00 a child per week-long session (Includes daily snack), plus a $25 supply fee.

Payment by check, money order, or credit card. Please make checks or money orders payable to Sun Gallery.
If paying by credit card, please, include type (visa,etc.), number, and expiration date.

Registration
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Full tuition must be paid before the first class meeting. Refunds are available only if a class is full or canceled (allow 30 days for refund). Tuition reserves your place in class. You must fill out a liability form on the first day.

Art project from Summer Art Day Camp.
Art projects vary from week to week. Students may enroll in more than one session. Class size will be limited to a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12 students per session.
