- Themed Art Exhibits by California and National Artists
- Tours for Schools
Groups of students, guided by an art educator, tour our exhibit, and then engage in a hands-on art activity in the studio. All East Bay schools. Fee $120 per class
- Saturday Art for Families
The art studio is open to families to enjoy doing an art project with their children. Art educators assist families in create collaborative works of art. Free, but suspended for now.
- Summer Art Day Camp
Participants immerse in fine arts during a weeklong session. Sun Gallery has offered sections in June to August. Fee $180 per child.
- Art Education Program for Home Schooled Children
Group art lessons for elementary age kids - Students meet once a week at the Sun Gallery's art studio to create a collaborative and individual art projects. Our art educators are currently implementing art education classes based on California Art Standards. Fee $6.00 per lesson.
- Therapy by Association
Up to 100 teens get together at Sun Gallery for art workshops, poetry reading, videos, and music. Free.
- Multicultural Events
Sun Gallery is proud to present the community with a variety of cultural events that represent our city. We are especially well known for our Day of the Dead celebration in collaboration with Fernando Hernandez and the Hayward Historical Society.
- Arts Gift Shop
Sun Gallery operates a gift shop that carries one-of-a-kind crafts created by California artists — ceramics, glass and wood work, photography, jewelry — and an assortment of children's books.
